About this Event

Join Varun Kohli, FAIA, director of sustainability at Corgan, for a free, timely conversation on creating resilient, sustainable, people-friendly, and ecologically rich cities.

Our cities are facing a rapidly changing world, from extreme heat, flooding, and wildfires to evolving technology, AI, and new ways of living and working.

Join us on Oct. 14 to hear how we can turn these challenges into opportunities. Through examples from New York’s coastal resiliency projects and “sponge city” concepts in Asia, Varun will explore creative approaches to adapting to climate change while mitigating its impacts.

Stay after the presentation to continue the conversation and network with fellow attendees over light refreshments.

What to expect:

  • A presentation on urban-scale resilience and climate adaptation strategies
  • Case studies spanning coastal resiliency and sponge city design
  • Light refreshments and networking with fellow attendees

Space is limited. Advance registration is required.
