DC Appleseed’s Emerging Leaders Network invites you to a screening of The Last Battlefront: Quest for the Vote in Washington, D.C.

The fight for representation and self-government in D.C. has been centuries in the making. Through personal stories and four pivotal moments from 1783 to today, the film brings this history to life, illuminating the events that shaped the District and the ongoing pursuit of equal representation.

Join us for a screening of the film with remarks from director, Anna Reid Jhirad. Following the film, we will have a panel discussion featuring leaders of DC's fight for statehood.
