The Quest Through Time - Marcus Liu, piano recital
About this Event
About Marcus Liu
Marcus Liu is a remarkable 12-year-old pianist currently studying with Dr. Anna Vavilova in Richmond. Over the past two years, he has been preparing for the highly demanding ARCT Piano Performance Examination, a level usually pursued by much older students.
Despite his young age, Marcus has already distinguished himself through numerous achievements, including top prizes in both local and international competitions. His playing reflects maturity, musical sensitivity, discipline, and a growing artistic voice beyond his years.
In this solo recital, Marcus presents The Quest Through Time, a powerful program that traces the evolution of piano music from the Baroque era to the modern day.
