Join us for the FIRST TIME EVER as we investigate the many hauntings of the Queens Head in the mystical village of Burley in the New Forest!
So much paranormal activity has been witnessed at the pub including hearing strange moaning sounds coming from underneath the floor of their Stable Bar! In 1950, a cellar and tunnel were found underneath containing the remnants of past smuggling exploits.
Staff have seen glasses fly of the bar for no logical reason, dark shadows have been seen regularly and furniture apparently moves in the dead of night only to be found in the morning in a different position.
Burley in the New Forest is known for its spooky history and reputation as a "witch village," with numerous tales of ghosts and supernatural occurrences. Burley's association with witchcraft is largely due to Sybil Leek, a 20th-century "white witch" who lived in the village. Her presence and influence can still be felt in the village's shops and atmosphere.
