The QuAsian Takeover at Val's
About this Event
The QuAsian Takeover celebrates the rich vibrancy and pays homage to queer Asian communities. This is a space for LGBTQ+ API people to connect, dance, celebrate, learn, and build community. There will be casual activities like mahjong, queer API trivia, a variety of live performances, and live DJ. Together, we'll uplift local talent, honor our shared histories, and create a welcoming space where queer API identities are centered, celebrated, and embraced.
We deeply appreciate the support of Val’s Lesbian Bar and the Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance (APIPA) for making this event possible. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to APIPA's Immigrant Detainment Fund.
