Growing up in a single-parent household, I experienced firsthand the unique challenges young men face when navigating life without a father figure. The confusion and pressure to define manhood without a role model can be overwhelming. However, these challenges can be overcome with the right support, understanding, and guidance.This event is designed for single mothers raising sons. My goal is to help bridge the communication gap between you and your boys by shedding light on the unspoken emotions and behaviors that often go unnoticed. It’s essential for mothers to tap into outside resources to build stronger connections with their sons. Often, advice from a male figure can have a significant impact, even when it reinforces what you’ve already shared. During this meetup, we’ll explore how young men process their emotions and experiences, giving you the tools to better support their journey through life. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with others who share your experience. Together, we can create a deeper understanding, foster open communication, and strengthen the bond between you and your son(s).
