The Promised Emmanuel

Journey Fellowship invites you to join us this Christmas season for a powerful evening of worship and artistry as we celebrate the promise and presence of Emmanuel — God with us.

The Promised Emmanuel blends Scripture, music, and reflection in a concert experience that unites classical excellence with heartfelt praise. Featuring world-class musicians and worship leaders, this evening will lift hearts and minds toward the hope of Christ’s coming.

The evening will showcase performances by Dr. Diana Chubak, an acclaimed Ukrainian pianist known for her expressive depth and virtuosic skill; the Kentucky Symphony String Quartet, whose members bring together remarkable artistry from the Cincinnati College–Conservatory of Music; Roman Counterman, an emerging mandolin virtuoso blending classical precision and Appalachian soul; and Vera Wei-Jung Hsu, an original composer and violinist, whose arrangements bring the message of Emmanuel to life.

Joining them are Don and Donna Austin, a beloved worship duo from Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose ministry and musicianship embody a lifetime of devotion, and Lenora McGinnis, a radiant Cincinnati soprano whose voice bridges classical elegance and heartfelt worship.
