The Prism Inkwell - Social Writing Event
About this Event
The Prism Inkwell is an LGBTQ weekly evening meetup for writers of any kind. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for writers to socialize, build friendships, and have dedicated time to focus on their work.
Whether you're an author, blogger, poet, student, or just want a little personal journaling time, join us and get a little dedicated writing and social time to relieve the solitary nature of writing.
We meet at 5:30pm every Monday at Pinkies Coffee and Cocktails in the Oak Lawn region of Dallas, TX.
When you arrive, look slightly to the left, there is a separated room with a neon ‘Pinkies’ sign. We meet in that space. Look for The Prism Inkwell sign on one of the tables and grab a name tag.
The event is free, but we ask that you always support the business and tip the staff well. A donation jar will also be out so we can afford to continue promoting on sites like Meetup.
Pinkies Coffee and Cocktails serves coffee from the coffee bar until around 6pm. The cocktail bar is open all night and serves THC drinks, cocktails, and mocktails.
This venue is not a quiet one, with some music and conversation throughout the evening, so bring noise cancelling headphones/earbuds if you will need them to focus.
We have limited outlets so please charge devices in advance if you are able to do so.
