We are celebrating one of spring’s most joyful flowers at our annual Primrose Festival from Saturday 1st February until Sunday 2nd March 2025.One of the highlights of our gardening calendar, it’s a wonderful opportunity to discover a stunning selection of classic and exciting new varieties of the beautiful primula family. You can even vote for your favourite primrose to be entered into our free prize draw and be in with a chance of winning a gardening hamper worth £100.

“The Primrose Festival is one of the best times to visit our greenhouse as it bursts into life with all the colours of the rainbow. We love primroses. They are one of the earliest spring flowers and deliver a much-needed splash of sunshine at this time of year!”
The sight of primroses in the garden in spring makes the spirits soar after a long cold winter. Thanks to their distinctive fragrance and range of vibrant colours they are a welcome addition to any green space. They are also a good source of nectar for butterflies, bees and moths.
