A Private Evening Introducing The Neighbor Project

For generations, Muslims have built masajid, schools, charities, and institutions that strengthen our communities from within.

But who is shaping how the world understands Islam and Muslims?

Join us in Houston for TNP Premiere Night, an intimate evening unveiling The Neighbor Project, a new nonprofit media institution dedicated to helping people better understand Islam through world-class film, documentaries, and storytelling.

For the first time in Houston, we’ll unveil our official trailer, share the vision behind The Neighbor Project, and explore why building serious Muslim media and narrative infrastructure has become one of the important challenges of our generation.

Featuring Professor Yasser Shahin

Professor Yasser Shahin is a film and media professor based in California and a Hollywood advisor who brings extensive experience in storytelling, film, and media.

Together with The Neighbor Project leadership, Professor Shahin will explore the power of storytelling, how media shapes the way entire communities are perceived, and what it will take to build media institutions capable of reaching audiences far beyond our own community.
