How do you relate to yourself when things get difficult? When emotions arise that you'd rather avoid? When that inner critic starts up?Join me for a 3-hour experiential workshop where we'll explore the RAIN method - a powerful framework for transforming our relationship with difficult emotions and inner experiences.
Through movement, partnered exercises, and guided practice, you'll learn to:
- Recognize what's present
- Allow your experience to be as it is
- Investigate with curiosity and kindness
- Nurture yourself through difficulty
We'll create a safe, playful container to practice these skills together. No previous experience needed - just bring your curiosity and willingness to explore.
The RAIN method comes from Tara Brach's work on radical compassion, rooted in the research of philosopher Eugene Gendlin, who discovered the specific inner moves that lead to transformation in therapy.
Key information:
- Limited to 12 participants (Write me & Say "I'm coming the 14th!))
- Noden member or 130kr
- Try to be here 10 minutes early so you can land a bit before we start
- You're expected to be able to take care of yourself, this is going to be a place for practicing social/emotional skills, not actual therapy
