The Power of Youth Development

This session provides a high-level overview of Youth Development for community stakeholders—whether a potential partner, funder, educator, volunteer, or simply curious about what youth development is all about. Participants will be introduced to the foundational elements of Weikart’s Youth Program Quality framework and the 10 Core Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies (CKSCs) that guide out-of-school time (OST) professionals.

Parking: Please park in the mall parking lot across from TGIFridays, near Edenbridge PACE. Look for the CareFirst sign and enter the hallway to suite W.
