As both a Senior Yoga Teacher and Registered Nurse, Sammy-Jo witnesses daily how breath impacts our health. Stress, shallow breathing and tension ripple through the nervous system, affecting mood, sleep, digestion and overall wellbeing.
But breathwork and pranyama can change everything.
Drawing on research from her yoga lineage - Kaivalyadham, one of the world’s leading yoga research centres, we know that breath and pranyama practices:
