The Power of the Breath: A Transformational Workshop

This workshop integrates breathwork with gentle movement, awareness of the thoracic spine, and an understanding of how posture influences breath. You’ll leave with practical techniques, tips, and tools to incorporate into your self-care routine, empowering you to harness the power of your breath anytime, anywhere.
Taught by Heather Gustafson RN, BSN, MBA, E-RYT500, IPT. Heather’s breathwork journey began when working as a critical care nurse with patients recovering from open heart and lung surgery. She found yoga and pranayama (breath work) to help with stress management as a nurse manager at the age of 29. Heather is trained in Advanced Pranayama (Kripalu Yoga Certification) and has a Positional Therapy practice where she works with individuals and groups to correct muscle imbalances, relieve pain and improve posture.
