The Professional Women’s Connection will host an engaging and interactive workshop, The Power of Body Language, designed for women who want to grow their communication skills and strengthen their presence in both professional and everyday settings. The event will take place on Thursday, March 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Green Lake American Legion, located at 518 Water Street.
What is your body saying before you speak? Research shows that a significant portion of communication is nonverbal, and our posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye contact often speak long before words are ever spoken. In this one-hour session, participants will explore how nonverbal communication shapes first impressions, builds trust, and enhances clarity and connection in relationships at work and in daily life.
The workshop will be led by Kristin Bock, founder of Body Language Blueprints. Kristin is a certified body language trainer, speaker, and coach who works with professionals and leaders to help them leverage nonverbal communication to connect more effectively and present themselves with confidence. Her programs are known for being interactive, engaging, and entertaining, while remaining grounded in practical, real-world skills such as making strong first impressions, holding confident eye contact, active listening, leading with presence, and improving communication in both in-person and virtual environments.
