IMPORTANT- THE CLIMB TO ALDERMANS ROCKS IS VERY STEEP AND IT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR LIMITS
Meeting point is at the Carpark at Dovestones Reservoir OL3 7NE this is a pay and display carpark!
This is a 4 mile Circular walk we will start at thecarpark at Dovestones and walk around part of the Reservoir before heading up the steep climb to Alderman’s Rocks and then over to the Monument at Pots and Pans we
Then drop back down and head back to the carpark via the roads
It should take us about 2 1/2 - 3 hours depending on how many people come how many stops we make and weather conditions
Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept under control by the owner
This walk is not suitable for children
It is very exposed once we get out of the valley so please wear suitable footwear and clothing and bring enough food and water to last you for at least 3 1/2 hours
