Step through the Portal.. where time is an illusion! Travel back to the Victorian and gold rush age of Main Street Woodland California when entrepreneurs ruled and gold won the west!The Portal Marketplace and Extravaganza showcases and highlights some amazing small businesses. Both our unique Main Street shops and restaurants as well as handmade sidewalk vendors!
The Portal has four distinct and special components for you to enjoy:
1: Handmade vendors. Main Street from college to first will feature handmade small businesses. Shop and meet your local artisans and makers! Some will be crafting live in their booth for you to see!
2. An exciting GHOST tour (additional fee for this part) of several buildings and the area. This is a walking tour of the outside of each building, sign ups for the tour are at Noon at Soul Garden Holistic Healing 521 Main Street.
3. Live entertainment! We have several musicians playing historic music from a real Barbershop Quartet to a traditional Irish band! Something for everyone! We also have professional clown Richy Bee performing for the kids and adults to enjoy!! Many performances throughout the day to enjoy and then, after party with Tipsy Orchestrina with their very vintage jukebox versions of favorite hits as well as lively Irish tunes! Starts at five at the Stag Bar!
4. Spiritual practitioners: you can sign up for a tarot reading, at Soul Garden Holistic Healing. Costs vary for these services and sign ups are limited. We recommend signing up at event open at noon!
Other EXCITING OFFERINGS FOR 2026:
1. Goodnight Room speakeasy is hosting a Bram Stoker themed Vampire meet up! A separate paid ticket is required for this add on.
2. Insect Pinning! Sign up to learn the Victorian art of insect pinning with Silvermoon Curiosities. The class will be held at Wildgrove Collective and an additional fee must be paid via Eventbrite to participate.
3. Gold Country Paranormal Investigators presentation. Drop in to Wild Grove collective for these Northern California real life ghost stories. Consult Eventbrite for full schedule.
4. The Vortex- a super unique art car with a steampunk flair-will be available in front of the Stag Bar for photo ops!
5. Horror Book Swap and Meet Up! Taking place at Casa Del Pan! Hosted by Hang Up Your Halo! Bring a book to leave, take a new one home!
Cost to attend is FREE TO THE PUBLIC and all ages are welcome!
We ENCOURAGE Victorian era dress, as it will make our event MORE immersive! (Think the Titanic film, or Disney Haunted Mansion or the Dickens’s Fair for inspiration.)
The event will begin at noon, a hostess located at Soul Garden (521 Main Street) will greet you and give you a map and schedule.
You can show up at any time during the day and find fun and entertainment!!!
