About the eventThis is a Walk of Wonder! The Pontcysyllte Aquaduct is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts visitors from all over the world. You will walk across this spectacular masterpiece of civil engineering and view it from all angles along our route. And there’s more. Further down the valley is the Cefn Viaduct, which is every bit as stunning. We will tie these two Victorian behemoths together with a ramble along the Llangollen Canal, the River Weaver and an excursion through Cefn Mawr Historic Industrial Village and Cefn Mawr Country Park. Prepare to be amazed!
Relax afterwards with Peter & Linda at the canal side pub, The Telford Inn, New Road, Trevor, LL20 7TT

Meet up on the car park of the Swimming baths in Market Drayton, and then travel to the start point from Market Drayton, that way if anyone needs a lift those with cars may be able to assist? If you live more locally to the start point you can travel direct to the start point, but YOU MUST make us aware via a Facebook message!
We leave the swimming baths at: 9.00am prompt.
