The Poetry Session: Texture

This Season’s Theme: TEXTURE

Workshops will focus on the experience of touch to uncover how we understand ourselves and others.

Intention:

Create an awareness that encourages kindness and balance when inevitably forming perspectives.

Need:

Globalised perspectives are robbing us of empathy, social media categorisations are replacing the nuance of individual experience.

Commodification of community is distorting relationships.

Texture is a challenge to anyone who feels lost. Losing themselves, losing people to speak to, losing faith. And for those who are flourishing… It’s an opportunity to share your texture as an act of encouragement.
