The story is centered around a drama group who does not have the best luck with their shows. The play starts with the group’s opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor. We see the tech crew frantically trying to finish the set before the show starts. Throughout the “play” we see the story unravel with prop mishaps set pieces falling apart actors getting knocked out and chaos that ensues until the bitter end. The Play That Goes Wrong is the classic play within a play where the audience experiences all that goes on when performing live onstage.
