The Play Project Virtual/In-Person Event

The PLAY Project stands for play and language autistic youngsters. The program was designed and directed by Dr. Richard Solomon. It is an evidence based, intensive early intervention program generally intended for children between 15 months of age to six years old. The program has proven to be beneficial for children with an autism diagnosis, those with suspected autism and children who have concerns with communication and social interaction. This is a train the trainer model, which means that parents will be trained by PLAY Project Consultants. The program is designed to help children improve or resolve the three core deficits of autism which are self-isolation, language and communication delays or impairment and stereotyped or repetitive behaviors. Parents will learn a bit more about that the intervention is, some of the key principles of the PLAY project and how it can be beneficial. I have two consultants who recently completed the intensive training, and we are currently accepting referrals for The PLAY Project.
