Join Keep Omaha Beautiful as we get hands-on with plastics and discover what those tiny recycling numbers really mean. In this interactive lab, you’ll test, sort, and experiment with different plastic types to see how they float, bend, and react to heat.
Along the way, you’ll uncover why some plastics are recyclable, others aren’t, and what makes each one unique.
By understanding the resins and materials that make up the plastics we use every day, we can make smarter choices and take real steps toward reducing waste in our homes and communities.
