In-Person Adult Mental Health First Aid

Are you interested in learning more about mental health, how to identify a person who may be in crisis, or gaining skills in starting the conversation with a person who may be experiencing a mental health challenge?

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Participants will learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental illness. This course gives tools to help friends, family members, colleagues, and others in the community. Participants who complete the course are certified in Mental Health First Aid for 3 years.
