About this Event

More Than a Hike

The Pink Hike is a morning dedicated to honoring survivors, remembering loved ones, increasing breast-health awareness, and reminding women that no one should have to navigate life’s most difficult seasons alone.

Hosted by HikeHER, this annual experience brings women together through hiking, wellness, education, faith, and genuine sisterhood.

Whether you are a breast-cancer survivor, caregiver, friend, family member, advocate, or woman who simply wants to support the cause, there is a place for you at the Pink Hike.

Part One: The Pink Hike

Time: 7:30–9:30 AM
Location: Cedar Ridge Preserve

We will begin the morning with a guided community hike surrounded by women dressed in pink. The hike will create space for movement, reflection, connection, and encouragement.

Attendees should arrive early enough to park, check in, and prepare for the hike. Comfortable hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and water are strongly encouraged.

Part Two: The Pink Hike Community Experience

Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Location: Duncanville Recreation Center

After the hike, the celebration will continue indoors with an uplifting community experience.

The program will include:

  • A live DJ
  • Pink Hike photo opportunities and photo-booth sessions
  • Wellness-focused vendors and community resources
  • Light refreshments
  • Attendee goodie bags, while supplies last
  • Meaningful opportunities to connect with other women
  • A live recording of the Diary of a Breastie podcast
  • A breast-health education conversation featuring survivors, caregivers, advocates, and professionals

The educational portion of the event will help attendees better understand breast-screening recommendations, important family-history questions, and ways to access breast-health services and local support.
