As the investigation unfolds, Katurian’s complicated relationship with his brother, Michal, is revealed, and the lines between fiction and reality begin to blur. The play explores themes of censorship, violence, and the morality of art, while delving into the psychological toll of trauma, guilt, and storytelling. With McDonagh's signature blend of dark humor and suspense, the play offers a chilling and thought-provoking look at the human psyche.
