As bluegrass continues to grow and bend as a genre, The Pickpockets are at the forefront, pushing the unique roots of their sound and jams into new territories. The four-piece string band from Salt Lake City has been touring their original material around the U.S. since 2019, and continues to gain momentum as they look towards recording their fourth record. The band's expansive repertoire and ever-growing sound draws inspiration from all around the world; from reggae, to funk, to traditional and newgrass styles, they consistently immerse audiences in new flavors and genres.

The Pickpockets have played sold out shows with Leftover Salmon, The Kitchen Dwellers, Mountain Grass Unit, Brothers Comatose, The Fretliners, and many other notable bands.
