🎉 24 years, a fire, a pandemic, a recession… and I even met my husband here.
That pretty much sums up the story of The Piano Café.
Twenty-four years ago we opened our doors with a simple idea — I didn't like my HR job in the city and who can't open a cafe????.
Since then we’ve been through a lot together, my Cafe and I.
• We opened during SARS
• We survived a recession
• We navigated COVID
• We even made it through a fire
And through it all, the café kept going. It's never let me down.
This place has been part of my life in ways I never could have imagined. I met my husband here 21 years ago, and countless memories have been made inside these walls. All my family both the Stone's and Jeffrey's have helped me along the way. Rob's family too!!! They are far away but we feel the love.
If you know me, you also know I like a good party, and we’ve had plenty of those here too. 🥂
