My pal Matías Bombal is screening George Cukor's outstanding "The Philadelphia Story" (MGM, 1940) at the beautiful and historic Orinda Theater (built 1941) to help celebrate the film's 85th anniversary. Starring Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, and James Stewart, it is all time classic and will be preceded by 45 minutes of special short features including Artie Shaw, Robert Benchley, and more. All for the bargain matinee price of $10.
