Overview: A Sheffield‑wide screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing, followed by a guided discussion with residents, community groups, local businesses, councillors and MPs — sharing clear evidence and creating space for constructive conversation together.What to expect: A short, accessible film bringing together evidence from leading UK experts on the climate and nature crisis, what it means for communities like ours, and the practical actions that can reduce these risks. Based on the National Emergency Briefing delivered to MPs in 2025, The People’s Emergency Briefing sets out the dangers facing the UK — from food insecurity to health impacts and extreme weather — in a clear and supportive way. After the 45‑minute film, a facilitated discussion will explore what this means for Sheffield and the constructive steps we can take together. Join residents, community groups, local businesses, councillors and MPs for a thoughtful, city‑wide free screening and conversation about our shared future.Doors open at 7:00pm, with the screening starting promptly at 7:15pm. The event will finish by 9:00pm.This is a free event and we want to reach as many people as possible.
