Sounds About Write: Summer Party, Open Mic and Live Writing Slam Challenge
About this Event
It's our final open mic of the season and the stage is all yours!
Bring something you're working on, whether it's brand new or you've been honing it for a while, to share with a supportive audience.
If you're brave, you can also take part in our live writing slam challenge. No prior warning. A theme picked at random on the night and just ten minutes to write something ready to perform!
If you'd like some feedback and/or time to practice your poems, join our Page to Stage session upstairs in The Writers Workshop from 5pm-6pm
Join members upstairs in Sheffield Plate prior to the event for food and drinks from 6pm.
To secure an open-mic slot, get an 'Open Mic' ticket (you might have to scroll down on the ticket page). If the Open Mic tickets have sold out, email [email protected] to be added to the reserve list (in case we have no-shows or more time on the night). Slots are 3 minutes each.
