This is an important, just released, 50-minute documentary which brings attention to the November 2025 National Emergency Briefing.
The film covers what’s happening to our climate and environment and what that means for our health, food systems, national security, economy and more.
'Shared knowledge is shared strength'.
Mike Berners-Lee, chair of the
November 2025 National Emergency Briefing, held at Westminster, introduced the session by saying
'the news will be difficult - but we will face it together'.
Ten of the UK’s leading climate experts shared clear accounts of how everyday life in the whole of the United Kingdom will be affected by what’s happening to our climate and environment.
The film, The People's Emergency Briefing, released on 7th April 2026, makes use of this information to spotlight the need to collectively create and implement, as a priority, urgent solutions that will ensure safety, resilience and adaption.
It intends to put pressure on the Government to make sure information is made available to all citizens and groups in the UK, and urges the film be shown on all TV channels.
This sobering reality check makes clear it’s time for action rather than debate and offers a social tipping point for positive change for the wider public, as well as politicians. Local MPs, councillors and community groups are invited.
After the screening we will make time to reflect on the many opportunities to act together with clarity and take practical steps with courage.
Everyone has something to offer.
