The Pelvic Health Connection - Understanding Your Pelvic Floor From the Inside Out
Your pelvic floor is an important part of your whole-body support system. These muscles work together with your core, diaphragm, hips, spine, and breathing to support your bladder, bowel, reproductive organs, posture, movement, and stability. Pelvic health is about more than simply having strong pelvic floor muscles—it’s about being able to appropriately contract, relax, lengthen, and coordinate these muscles with the rest of your body.
This workshop combines pelvic health education with simple movement, breathwork, and body awareness. You’ll learn how the pelvic floor works as part of your larger core system and how the diaphragm, abdominal muscles, hips, spine, and even areas such as the jaw and feet can influence how your pelvic floor functions. Through practical education and easy-to-follow techniques, you’ll learn to recognize patterns of tension, improve your connection with your deep core and pelvic floor, and develop strategies to support strength, mobility, relaxation, and better pressure management.
