This commemorative event honors 118 years of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, celebrating the rich legacy of the first Greek-letter sorority established by African American women. Founders’ Day is a time-honored tradition that reflects on our history while reaffirming our commitment to Service to All Mankind®.

Guests will experience an inspiring program highlighting the mission, impact, and continued work of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, alongside meaningful community engagement made possible through our partnership with the Ivy Foundation of Montgomery, Inc. Proceeds from this celebration will support charitable initiatives and programs that uplift and serve the Montgomery community and beyond.
