When it comes to the music of No Soap, Radio eclecticism is the name of the game. They take elements from funk, metal, jazz, fusion, progressive rock, and rap to provide a unique and eccentric experience. So whether you like to bang your head, shake that booty, or just sit back and vibe, They are sure to have something for you.
The members of No Soap, Radio are just as eclectic as the music they play. They are teachers, library staff, retail workers, department managers, and audio editors. They come from all walks of life but their passion for music brings them together to create something truly spectacular.
The Makeways
The Makeways are a Salt Lake City seven-piece band comprised of members of former ska and reggae acts that have been kicking around the local ska scene for a number of years. Seeking to harness the tension between modern and retro sounds, the Makeways offer their spin on Jamaican Music with a soulful and melodic approach to the classic genre.
Left On Tenth
Left on Tenth is a 5-7 member indie/funk rock band based out of the PNW. Performing 100’s of shows a year, they have come to be a household name in their home city, Portland OR. In addition to playing larger PNW venues such as Mississippi Studios (Portland), Nectar Lounge (Seattle), and The Volcanic Theater (Bend), they are constantly looking for new exciting places to showcase their music and perform for new fans.
In addition to performing high energy live shows, they consistently release music for their fans to stream at home. Their 2024 album “Sunup”, won BEST INDIE/ALTERNATIVE ALBUM at the PNW music
About the Pearl
The Pearl on Main is the brainchild of John Simianer and Peyton Wunderli. Purchased with the intention of activating the street, the theatre hosts many events, from live theater to concerts and movies. The theatre is a key piece of the revitalization efforts for the city of Midvale and there are exciting renovation plans on the horizon. Day to day operations are run by the talented Taylor Dunn.
