The Peace Creeps is the current musical project featuring former A’s captivating frontman Richard Bush. Richard and his A’s were the darlings of Philly in the ‘70s and early ‘80s and had the hits “After Last Night” and “A Woman’s Got The Power”, which was later recorded by both Clarence Clemons and Jennifer Holliday. They released two albums on Arista Records and toured nationally before disbanding. After a long hiatus to write and record, Bush finally, along with guitarist John Marchiano, bassist Roy Fisher and drummer Jeff Pancoast formed The Peace Creeps. Bush and song writing partner, AJay McLaughlin’s clever lyricism, their Elvis Costello–like wit, Faces–like looseness and the pop sensibilities of the Beatles all make for an awesome show.
Beyond the heavy guitar and drums that defines his work with Pawnshop Roses, opener Paul Keen reveals a more intimate and nuanced side as a solo artist. Trading the electric crunch for the warm resonance of the acoustic guitar, Keen’s solo performance is an exploration of songwriting depth and vocal prowess. He performs both fan favorites from the band's catalog—reimagined in a stripped-down setting—and new, introspective material that highlights his mastery of melody and lyricism. Whether you're a long-time fan of Pawnshop Roses or discovering his work for the first time, this set promises an unforgettable and deeply personal musical experience.
