The Paradigm Shift: A Free Ugandan Coffee Auction Tasting

We are lucky enough that we have been sent a sample set from the Mountain Harvest 2026 Auction, and so we wanted to open up the opportunity to taste it together! The evening will include exploring ten exceptional lots from Uganda that showcase variety, processing, innovation and quality at origin.
This tasting is open to everyone, whether you simply love coffee and want to taste some rare gems, including Uganda’s first official harvest of Gesha (that we know of!), or you’re a coffee professional, roaster, barista or café owner.
This is a meaningful opportunity to evaluate (and enjoy) auction-level Ugandan coffees during the live auction window!
Everyone is welcome, and we think you’ll be blown away by the quality on the table.
Together, we’ll taste the coffees side by side and talk through what makes each one unique, from classic washed profiles to more experimental processes and rare variety separations.
We’ll also hear more about how Mountain Harvest is putting Uganda on the coffee map and impacting thousands of lives through its work at origin.
No prior cupping experience is needed. This will be a relaxed, welcoming and educational session designed to make auction coffees more accessible, while celebrating the work Mountain Harvest is doing to shift the narrative around Ugandan coffee.
The event is free to attend, with optional donations to charity welcomed.
