The Outcome tells the powerful and unsettling story of Kijana Jardan, a Long Beach, California native whose life is turned upside down after she is wrongly accused of attempted M**der.

In 2016, what begins as an ordinary day quickly spirals into chaos when police surround her building and order her to come out with her hands up. That moment launches Kijana into a nearly two-year fight for her freedom, as she faces the threat of a life sentence, navigates false accusations, and endures repeated setbacks with legal representation.

After being released from wrongful imprisonment, Kijana chooses to transform her pain into purpose. She channels her experience into creating a docuseries, The Outcome, using her voice to expose the harsh realities and systemic failures within the justice system.

Through this project, Kijana not only shares her personal journey but also creates space for others with similar experiences to be seen and heard. Her mission is rooted in awareness, healing, and the pursuit of justice for those whose stories are too often overlooked.
