Get ready for the only Youth Triathlon in the Monadnock Region - the Otter Romp! This annual event at the Keene Family YMCA is the perfect introduction to the sport for kids ages 5-12. It's also a great opportunity for more experienced athletes to kick-off the summer season!
The swim segment takes place in the Keene Family YMCA pool, the bike segment is held on a completely closed course on Summit Road, and the run segment takes place on the YMCA grounds.
There are four age groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12, each with age-appropriate distances and lots of support.
All participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards without a floatation device and are required to bring their own equipment.
