The Otherness live at Hotel Ziggy

THE OTHERNESS is a rock band from the deepest end of America.

Martin and Gon started to play music and write songs together since they were kids in Comodoro Rivadavia - the capitol of wind in La Patagonia, Argentina.

Pablo joined them later on drums in Buenos Aires and they were ready to play live and start touring.

The boys have relentlessly toured in the grassroots circuits of the UK and Europe and have gained significant support from the audiences and rock press all over the regions. This undiluted passion for music also shows in a wide range of multicultural experiences – the ones to be sorted out as a tight group. In a world of narcissism and individualism here’s a collective of young people that still believe that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

The Otherness’ music is melodic and edgy, intense and meaningful and they actually play their instruments.

In October 2021 the band released its 12 track debut album “LMIRL” (Let’s Meet In Real Life) with great reviews in the UK press and fine radio airplay on Radio Eins, Fritz Radio, SiriusXM and US college radios.

In 2022 they released “A New Resistance” - a 4 track EP recorded in Berlin, produced in Buenos Aires by Gaspar Benegas and mastered by Felix Davis at Metropolis Studios in London.

The infectious energy of the band comes through with a mix of pop and rock styles of all ages, but with a fresh twist to it. You will find young sensible men with a witty sense of humour, reflecting the complex and beautiful intricacies of this generation.

Now, the boys are currently mixing their sophomore album entitled “Broken Latitudes”.

The material for this upcoming release consists of 17 brand new songs. “ALL IN ALL” will be the main single and introduces the signature sound of the group: big choruses, distinct vocal harmonies, edgy guitars and uplifting beats.

“This track is about love and friendship when times are difficult –it is the quintessential spirit of the band in the shape of a song. It also shows our attitude towards mental health and emotional suffering - from the perspective of being there for the others.”

The Otherness will be promoting “Broken Latitudes” upon release and throughout 2026.
