Yippee! We're having another almost 7th annual gathering of members and friends of The Other Ojai! This event is for friends of Ojai, of all ages! It's a FIESTA!
A bit of history for those of you who don't know how this started --- In 2015, The Other Ojai's Facebook group was at about 3000. Everyone was connecting online, but I thought it would be fun to bring those in the group who wanted, together at an in-person event. So I jumped in, reaching out to those who might want to volunteer their time to cook or play music. I found some great members who came forward and helped us organize our first event in October, 2015 - a BBQ at Soule Park with 100 attendees. Five years later in 2019, we had over 200 people, making it quite the party! Then came COVID which put a stop to our BBQs. So sad. :-( But we started up again last year when we had our first FIESTA event, which was a success with over 120 people (not bad for being out of commission for 4 years). It was so much fun - so let's do it again! This time, we're changing it up and holding the FIESTA at Camp Comfort.
And get ready! Our phenomenal TOO All Star Band is back and will be delivering an afternoon of cool tunes and dance-inducing music for all!
A delicious Mexican feast featuring a variety of traditional and popular dishes is planned, including vegetarian choices. Menu to follow.
DATE: Sunday, October 19 (day after Ojai Day)
TIME: Noon to 5pm
WHERE: Camp Comfort
WHAT: Water and sparkling water will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own beverages.
COST: $35 per person
PARKING FEE: $5 (carpool if you can)

For those of you coming from out of town, make your hotel reservations soon, as Ojai Day brings a lot of people to Ojai and the hotels are filling up fast.
