One thing has always been true about the OSW All Stars: we always knew our top priority in life and it wasn’t music. It was family.When we started this thing almost 20 years ago, we all had young kids and busy lives. Soccer games, dance recitals, family vacations, and real-life responsibilities always came first. The band fit in where it could and somehow, that worked.
Fast forward nearly two decades, and here we are. We’re transitioning from work to retirement, our kids are having kids (yes… grandfatherhood is happening), and some of us are even moving states to be closer to family. Life keeps moving, as it should.
Because of all that, our days of consistent summer “tours” together are winding down. This doesn’t mean we’re disappearing, there will absolutely be some "one-off gigs," but shows will be fewer and farther between.
And honestly? This isn’t depressing at all. It’s exciting. It’s the next chapter.
None of us ever thought we’d get to play together for nearly 20 years, and we feel incredibly lucky and blessed that we did. That only happened because of you: the friends, family, and fans who showed up, listened, cheered, and supported us along the way. We couldn’t have lived out our rock-and-roll dreams without you.
That said… we’re not done just yet.
Before some of our members fully step into retirement and legendary grandfather status, we’re stoked to announce at least one more show this year (and hopefully another).
