Join the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, in collaboration with the Havre de Grace Colored School Museum and Cultural Foundation, during Black History Month for the “Reclaiming the Narrative” lecture series. This series will examine African American history as a narrative and focus on aspects that are often misrepresented, ignored, or omitted from United States history. There will also be a children’s class on the Underground Railroad. Admission to the lecture series is free to the public.This lecture will answer the basic questions of who, what, when, where, and why of Black History Month and African American History.
