The Open Table Book Club - August Gathering

In April 2026, we began a new store-affiliated book club, requested by customers and community members who have expressed interest in a book club like this.
We will gather every other month (for now) in a curious and inclusive group after reading a book exploring questions surrounding faith, community, and life.
People from all faith backgrounds - or none at all - are welcome to attend, understanding that the goal is not discipleship or proselytization, but inclusive discussions that prompt participants to a place of curiosity and reflection.
For our next meeting, we are reading 'Scandalous Witness' by author and educator (and Alabama native!) Lee C. Camp. While we do not require a book purchase to participate, we hope that you will consider purchasing from us, and also RSVPing here for planning purposes.
