The Old Home Place Concert Series welcomes The Oregon Trail Troubadours Thursday, April 9 at 7pm. This unique listening room environment music series is held at Maple & Main, 101 South Maple in Buffalo, Missouri on the second Thursday of each month. For more information call 417-343-1314. Tickets are fifteen dollars each.
When a group of songwriters get together in the wee morning hours at a music conference anything can happen. That's exactly how The Oregon Trail Troubadours came to be. A collaboration of songwriters bouncing ideas for touring between songs and stories of their youth, each talented performing songwriters in their own right hailing from Texas, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee. Daniel Niehoff, Lyal Strickland, Rachel Laven and Dillon Hasten make up this caravan of westward bound modern day pioneers.
