Kolkata Explorers (a division of Green Step Tourism) takes you on a guided tour to central Kolkata, where the hidden gems are waiting to be discovered. This is the area which has given birth to many revolutionary ideas and actions, spiritual ideas, houses of some wealthy Bengali families, food of Bengal and has contributions to Bengal Renaissance.
Tour details:
1. Meet at P C Chandra Jewellers Shop gate on BB Ganguly Street
2. Breakfast from one of the road side shops
3. The tour will be led by Avijit Dhar Chowdhury.
4. Entry inside the building will be restricted in some places because either they are private buildings or under some Trustees.
5. Areas to be covered : Sealdah, Baithakkhana, Koley Market, Scot Lane, part of BB Ganguli Street, part of Ahmerst Street.
Recommended wear:
1. Loose garments
2. Flat shoes or slip-ons
