Join us for the official 2025 Nup to the Cup Protest & Picnic where we will speak up for the horses who are forced to risk their lives at the Melbourne Cup. We will be based at the Newmarket Reserve next to Flemington Racecourse with music, drinks and picnic set-up starting at 10am.
Throughout the day we will take our banners up to the entrance of the racecourse to chant and display our opposition to the cruelty of horseracing.
When the Melbourne Cup has been run in the afternoon, we will join the official Nup to the Cup party at Welcome to Thornbury.
If you only attend one protest a year, this is the one to support. We can’t wait to see you there to speak up for compassion over cruelty. Let’s race together towards a kinder future for all!
