The O.C. Bike and Brew Tour

Join Michigan Brew Tours for a tour of three of the finest breweries Oakland County has to offer: Urbanrest Brewing Co. in Ferndale, Dog and Pony Show Brewing Co. in Oak Park, and Lily's Seafood Grill & Brewery in Royal Oak.

This approximately 10-mile-long bike ride departs at 1:00 p.m. from Grant Park in Royal Oak, first travelling south to Urbanrest, where you'll get rewarded for all your pedaling with a pint of their finest. Then, we head north and west for a visit to Dog and Pony Show for one of their delicious ales & lagers. Next, we had back east to stop in at Lily's Brewery for another well-earned pour. Finally, the tour wraps up back at Grant Park.

For this exclusive tour, you'll be guided by Certified Cicerone® and Michigan Brew Tours' owner John Turnage who will lead you through the streets of a few of Oakland County's coolest neighborhoods.

A pint or equivalent of your choice at each tour stop is included. Water and light snacks will be provided along the tour route, but eating a healthy meal prior to the tour is recommended.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike): Tour participants need to bring their own bicycle, bike lock, bike helmet, and water bottle - safety and hydration are required! The 10-mile route is paved and mostly flat, but know your limits! Please dress for the weather and bring sunscreen as needed.

BIKE RENTALS: Bikes are available for rent from one of the nearly dozen MoGo stations in the Royal Oak/Ferndale/Oak Park area. See MoGo's website for locations.

PLEASE NOTE: Michigan Brew Tours is not responsible for mechanical issues, flat tires, injury, or accident during the tour. Please make sure your bicycle is well-maintained and have a plan in place should an unfortunate situation occur.

PARKING: Plenty of free parking is available near Grant Park in the median on E. 4th St.

CHECK-IN: Please arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour and check in with your guide at Grant Park. Look for the yellow & black "Tour Starts Here" flag. If you are running late, please contact your Michigan Brew Tours guide at (734) 666-5036 and arrange to meet up with the tour group.

AGE LIMIT: 21 and over ONLY, even if not drinking. You MUST show valid ID upon arrival to participate in the tour.

TICKETING: No need to print your ticket. Arrive a few minutes early to check-in, give the guide your name and ID. That's it!

CANCELLATION: In case of severe/inclement weather, Michigan Brew Tours may have to cancel a tour. We will notify guests of a cancellation as far ahead of the start of the tour as possible. Refunds will be available or you may choose to reschedule for another tour. If you are unable to attend the tour, tickets are transferable to another guest (age 21+) up to 24 hours prior to the tour.
