Celebrating its 16th year of dancing OAC’s audiences into the holiday spirit, MainStage Academy of Dance’s “The Nutcracker” has become a cherished tradition in the Lake Country area.
Inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann's “Nutcracker and the Mouse King” and the iconic musical score of Peter Tchaikovsky, Artistic Director Eddy Bray takes the audience into the mysterious and kaleidoscopic world of childhood enchantment with fresh choreography, dazzling costumes, and captivating scene changes.
The audience will be entranced throughout Bray’s whimsical production with unexpected twists and behind-the-scenes magic as a beloved Nutcracker toy comes to life.
