Is your child a bookworm in the making?
We invite you to bring them to the Nooker Nippers, our after-school book club for 6-8-year-olds.
Each month, we’ll choose an age-appropriate book for the group to read.
Our book for June is Duck Look Who's Talking! by Matt Stanton.
Lisa Haymes will oversee our monthly meetups for the kids to chat about the book.
How to join:
Pop into the store and buy the book, and we’ll take your details.
Then if your Nooker Nipper turns up at the monthly meetup, they get a voucher for their money back!
(This encourages them to read the book and turn up.)
A parent or guardian is required to come along.

Meet Lisa:
Lisa is a local multidisciplinary creative whose practice spans photography, illustration, painting, ceramics and more.
Her career has included photographic commissions documenting the work of fellow creatives, alongside editorial, advertising, tourism and portrait projects.
She has also worked in publishing and is an avid reader and devoted book lover.
She is also a mother of two (now adult) children.
