The Santa Cruz City Ballet, at the International Academy of Dance, presents an original production that puts a frightening twist on the holiday classic. It features all forms of dance including ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop, in a fun and poetic story bursting with the Halloween spirit.
The Nightmare Before Nutcracker answers the question: What if the Rats Win? What will become of the Land of Sweets if the Rat Queen wins the epic battle with the Nutcracker?
Come and find out at this family-friendly (recommended for ages 8+) event. There will be lots of fun and spooky things to do, so be sure to come in costume and dress to impress!
